Under The Cans

2023

An installation about repetition, movement, and waste. Recycled soda cans and fish skeletons are suspended on fishing line across a corridor, creating shifting curtains that make viewers choose their path, thread randomly through denser clusters or take the more open channel. The pairing of cans and skeletal forms points to ocean pollution: what we discard returns as fragile remains.
